About the Client

My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe and sustainable air travel.

They are looking to hire an experienced GO/React Developer on a contract basis to support the development of a Blockchain solution for an MRO, Aircraft maintenance solution.

About the Role

The MRO blockchain project aims at leveraging a blockchain network to help MRO organizations, lessors, airlines etc. To have a common and trusted platform to track and trace their parts and to access the digital passport of these same parts.

The service of this platform is both exposed via an API and via a GUI.

Currently in a productization phase and are strengthening their internal team on the matter.

Key Duties

• Participate in the development of the MRO blockchain solution:
  • o Portal features and improvements implementation in React
  • o Connection points and other applications in GO
  • o Smart applications and smart contract (business logic)
• Become knowledgeable about the solution to later be able to become more autonomous on new implementations

What we are looking for

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• React (mandatory)
• Golang (mandatory)
• Experience with a blockchain network is valued (but far from being mandatory)!
• English proficiency
• EDI experience valued
• Experience working in an Agile development environment valued
• Experience working with Kubernetes & Docker valued
• Experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines importantly but also Boards, Repos & Test Plans)

Candidates based in Barcelona would be required to spend 3 days in the office as this is the preference.

Fully remote candidates across EU will also be considered.
